Preparing the Artwork To assist with the preparation of your artwork here are a few general guide lines on preparing artwork ready for print. If you cannot find what you need to know here, or require further clarification on any of the listed topics, please <a href="http://www.freshprintshop.co.uk/pages/contact-us">contact us</a>. Layout & Sizes Most of our products follow standard ‘A’ paper sizes. Please check individual products for actual sizes. Please supply everything in a ‘one up’ basis. i.e. provide one business card on a 90 × 50 or 85 × 55 page or one A4 leaflet on a 210 × 297 page. The exact dimensions for the popular sizes are detailed below. We accept images in format of TIFF, JPEG, GIF and PDF files. Care should be taken when providing images in other formats as compression may be used that will reduce final quality. Bleed Images, background colours and fills which are intended to extend to the edge of the page should be extended 3mm beyond the page to give a bleed. Text, boxes and other areas you need on your finished job should sit 5mm in from the edges of the page. Please use our Free Design Templates. File Formats Our preferred file format is Adobe Acrobat (PDF) files. If using PDF format, please ensure the file is not password protected as this will cause delays in your print order. We can also accommodate files created in Photoshop, although there may be a charge for converting it to PDF. If you are unsure how to produce a PDF file for print, please <a href="http://www.freshprintshop.co.uk/pages/contact-us">contact us</a> for advice. Or we can do it for you! We would be more than happy to design some eye catching and professional artwork for your business stationary, like our printing, costs less than you’d think at £25.00 per business stationary item. For further information, please contact us Please note <ul> <li>If any artwork that you supply is not to the correct size, a set up charge of £25.00 will be made. Please ensure you download and use the templates provided to ensure artwork is the correct size.</li> <li>Any artwork supplied will be printed as you supply it, we will not send print proofs, unless we have designed the artwork for you or you have added this additional option to your order. Please request our terms for more information.</li> <li>If you have a design already in place and wish us to make some final amendments to the card as you are unable to do this, this will be charged at £15.00 per card for small/minor amendments. For large amendments or a resign please contact us for a individual quote.</li> <li>For Flexi-Tags & PVC Business Cards, please do not round off the corners of your artwork – this is done by the cutting process.</li> </ul>
